Prof. Jean-Wilner Alexandre

It is my great honor to write this recommendation on behalf of an amazing professor, scholar, speaker, author, motivator, and colleague Ms. Tonia S. Lloyd. I have had the privilege to meet her at Essex County College during the 2015 spring semester. She was instrumental in the coordination and organization of DECA's first Speechcraft. DECA is a business students’ organization that prepares them to be leaders and entrepreneurs in Marketing, Finance, Hospitality and Management. She was the linchpin of the success of this 8-week seminar during which our students learned the fundamentals of public speaking. During this event, her discipline, enthusiasm, motivation and professionalism were exemplary. So much so that the head of the Business Department had invited her to teach on a part-time basis. I believe that Ms. Lloyd would be a great asset and addition to any organization seeking to grow. Jean-Wilner Alexandre Assistant Professor Economics and Finance Assistant Director Honors Program Coordinator Finance Program Essex County College

This confirms that Ms Lloyd worked on a prison anger management project in Trinidad providing psychological training and interventions to prison officers and prisoners who were part of the project. She performed her duties admirably and was always reliable and dedicated. Her participation in the project contributed to its success and she demonstrated that she could be a valuable member of a research team as well as honed her psychological skill set. Gerard Hutchinson - Project Lead.

We train parents and teachers on how to successfully implement our psychological programs with their children and students. Our programs increase students' efficacy to improve their grit, self-esteem, anxiety and depression. We are among the select few that could provide data to measure how students improve in these metrics over the course of the program. We can quickly model, adapt and customize our evidenced based programs to get results that help children feel better about their capacity to be the best versions of themselves at home, in school and in the world. • Mar 2013 - Sep 2014

The Applied Alternative Dispute Resolution Workshop addresses more issues of withholding information and challenges mediators to assess how they would deal with these factors as they mediate. In today's workshop, my goal as coach was to enlighten the team on how to see beyond the speedy resolution of the issue to identifying the interests and real/underlying interests and what could happen when issues are not dealt with before the mediation is ended. Clients learned how to utilize the caucus in order to seek clarification and address issues pertaining to withholding information. Clients found my coaching insightful. Grateful to God for using my coaching ability successfully to help others. Special thanks to Peter Dreyer, Senior Associate of Stitt Feld. Strongly recommend Stitt Feld ADR Workshops! Show less
