  Engaging Lincoln primary schools in active travel based activities such as bike skills, bike repair, scooter skills. Through this engagement selecting schools to join the School Streets programme, where Sustrans and Lincolnshire council plan to close streets outside schools to motor traffic at drop off and pick up times, enabling safe active travel to school. I was trained in community engagement facilitation in order to hold school street consultations with the local community. As the only Sustrans officer in Lincolnshire I also supported local partners such as councils and Cycling UK in other active travel related projects around the city and county. All my work was done entirely using sustainable transport- bike, ebike, scooter, train and bus. Unfortunately experienced head-on collision transportation cycling injury and associated trauma, surgery etc, which led me to return to Wales. Show less
