Ben Logan
Rarely do you come across a worker like Tommy. Immediately my impression of him was: DOER. When something needs to get done his hand is the first one up. He makes a point to bring in the best measurement equipment and to fully learn train-up on usage. At those trainings, he stays after the session and grills the trainer on specific details of operation. When instruments don't perform as specified, he holds the vendor's feet to the fire until performance is up to par. Whenever I needed data or a system or experiment to be set up in the lab, he had it done(and done right) before I expected. This is the experience for everyone at Atia. He literally works for every person there. Tommy has a clever way of getting things done. If the traditional way doesn't work he's not afraid to try unconventional methods. He is ultra efficient and honestly hard to keep up with! As a design engineer, his clever fixtures are everywhere, solving needs not expressed, but recognized by Tommy. 15 minutes at SolidWorks and overnight in the 3D printer and the next day someone's job gets easier! If you need an engineer who can measure anything, use complicated equipment, or design production fixtures, Tommy has my highest recommendation.
