  I was one of two safety managers on the night shift with man power for that shift being about 200. I would over see field operations for my designated work assignment. We were the grading contractor on site with the task of excavating for the reactors and screening all material prior to being returned for structural fill. I maintained a good working relationship with all personnel to encourage open lines of communication. I conducted JSA audits every shift and provided feedback to the foreman who completed it in hopes of improving the focus on safety for the task at hand.
