• Graphic Design Assistance involved working closely with the Art Director capitalizing on my graphic design skills in the Adobe Creative Suite for the annual catalog, signage, Best in Teen Writing novel, the New York Times Ad, and other publications. My other responsibilities included constructing mock ups, executing rounds of edits made by copy editor, analyzing proofs for color correction and errors, liaison between five teams within our department, pulling credits/media for review, creating material for social media, formatting images for web and print, assisting the photographer document nearly 600 works of art and nearly 500 students, and managing assets submitted by participating students in the competition for a celebratory video shown at Carnegie Hall. • Programs assistance involved customer service via phone and email, processing submission forms, assigning jurors to panels for different regions and categories of the regional level of the competition, moderating Juror Panels, managing construction and established/maintained relationships for on-site events, and material distribution at conferences. • Art Handling assistance involved art intake with the Art Handling team, installing artwork at Parsons/Pratt/and Scholastic Headquarters, curatorial assistance to Exhibition Manager and Director, updating exhibition materials, creating packages for art returns, pulled and cross checked spreadsheets in Excel for artwork/material transfer, communicated with students in regards to art returns, and created Met Exhibition Key and Large Label Booklet using InDesign. I worked on a team of Art Handlers receiving teenagers artwork from around the world, getting everything sent to the framers, installing the exhibits at PRATT and Parsons, and de-installation at the MET. Responsible for handling the 600 2d & 3d pieces when the documentation process began with the photographer, logging received artwork into our database, technological assistance/testing, inventory on exhibit stock, and making sure supplies were show-ready.
