In this role, I have to manage all different aspects of customer interactions. Both telecommunication and sales, complaint handling and customer satisfaction. This is a very fast paced place to work and each day brings different opportunities and obstacles to over come. In this role, I have to manage all different aspects of customer interactions. Counter Staff

May 2012 - Mar 2019
As a counters assistant, I am the front line in terms of fresh-food service. It is required that we have great knowledge of products, as well as the skills required, not just to complete the job at the counter, but also to provide things such as cooking tips as well as helping customers decide what other foods to buy.The counters have the largest legal implications as we deal with food, and as such we have exceedingly high standards of hygiene and knowledge of proper techniques.I have also performed a 7-month period of acting manager over the Christmas period which increased my duties to include things such as counter inspections, staff management and stock management. It was in this position that I successfully developed and implemented techniques in regards to KPIs and like-for-like sales to help keep positive growth within the company, which the counters continues to use even after I have returned to my previous position.

This role was a unique one where I would go to bars and pubs across the country and help them recover from being run-down and transform them into establishments which would turn a profit.Duties of this role included stock management, money handling, customer service, maintaining standards, as well as renovation and restoration of buildings. This role was as an independent worker, performing such tasks as creating custom crafted windows, doors, roofs, and conservatories. This job proved to be a good challenge for me and kept me busy with learning new skills and techniques.I left this job after being made redundant during the recession of 2009. I moved on from the RAF and obtained a role as a team member at GoBowling to start building my working experience. This role included such duties as customer greeting, reception duties, and bar and cafe work. Due to my previous experience in catering, I was mainly stationed in the bar and cafe. Joined the Royal Air Force and completed basic training. After basic training, I started an NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality. I was, unfortunately, unable to complete the course due to personal reasons at the time, however, the time I spent in this role was invaluable to me and developing me into the person I am today, with the skillset and attitude I currently have.
