      My Ph.D. programme is devoted to the research and development of scintillation light detectors for liquefied noble-gas Time Projection Chambers (L-TPCs), with particular emphasis to liquid Argon (LAr) as a medium for rare event detection. I'm studying the performance of semiconductor-based photo-detectors for cryogenic applications and I'm working on the trigger and DAQ for the ICARUS photo-detection system.
