  Heathmans was one of London’s premiere Mastering houses. My role within the company was to liaise with labels and artists externally and the Mastering engineers internally to make sure sessions where booked and ran smoothly and all parties received masters to schedule. I was also in change of all IT operations in the studio and oversaw their switch to networked computers to run the studios. Heathmans was one of London’s premiere Mastering houses.   This was a short-term paid contract over the Summer holiday with the company secured after working with them as an intern. The project involved sourcing and cataloguing of digital and physical masters. Creating and editing the digital content, including the production of clips, download ready tracks and artwork. Use of the custom Content Management System and working with the web designers and digital distributors to produce a fully functioning online store in a very tight timeline.

  While at University in London I undertook part-time work experience with one of my favorite record labels at the time. During my time at Defected I worked with most departments to some extent, including PR, Events, Publishing and Production. Most of my time was spent with the Promotions team where my primary job was building a syndicated radio show featuring Defected artists which aired regularly across a network of radio stations worldwide.
