I worked with Tomislav Jurković for several years at both, the DoubleTree by Hilton Zagreb and BTA Food&Services Group. Tomislav worked as part of the DoubleTree by Hilton Zagreb pre-opening team and immediately started showing qualities only great leaders have – strength, courage, collaboration and an incredible passion for his work. Opening a Hotel is not a simple task and only those that are daring and devoted enough succeed. In addition, placing a new hotel on the hospitality map of Croatia’s capital and beyond, requires knowledge, amazing leadership skills and a team that moves the borders of ordinary. All of this is Tomislav Jurković. In addition, Tomislav always demonstrated such a deep understanding of his field of work and always took initiative to go beyond the expectations of his job. He is very result focused and detail oriented. He was an active member of the DoubleTree CARE Committee for several years and established himself as a friend, mentor and care-giver to those in need. Because Tomislav displays fantastic skills in positive communication, hospitality and teamwork, and at all times expresses great appreciation to guests and fellow team members, he always served as an example to others. I truly enjoyed working with Tomislav and would work with him again in a second.
