Tom, was my social secretary at Uni. He was extremely good at ensuring that everyone was settled at uni and he did an effective job of marketing and making the events suited to the students. I wish him the best in the future

Tom is one of the best salespersons I've ever met. I've probably bought way too many tickets off him just because of his persuasive nature. He is an extremely proactive student too, partaking in loads of extra things other than his studies, such as his business related vlogs to further his learning. And he is an amazing presenter and speaker having excelled in my presentation groups in seminars.

I was responsible for the founding of Rehoused.Rehoused was a student startup based in Manchester which provided monthly Deep House and Tech nights. It received press spotlight and played at the Parklife Festival. I expanded the brand by organising two vintage clothes fair where I secured sponsorship from the online clothes retailer - Boohoo. Both produced a profit. I was responsible for the founding of Rehoused.Rehoused was a student startup based in Manchester which provided monthly Deep House and Tech nights. Working for Three was a massive growing up experience.Although, I had worked with the general public before I never had to sell to them or convince them to part with their money. When I started at Three I had no idea about phones apart from how to use the internet and to make a phone call, I was then thrown in the deep end being asked in depth queries about phones and technical difficulties. From this I gained the confidence that I could pick up skills quickly and teach myself product knowledge.Three also taught me different sales techniques and how you need to alter the way you approach, speak and close with different types of customers.I was also nominated for Top Salesperson in the Area for 2011.

This was my first real job, it gave me a good idea of work ethic and how to deal with the general public. I worked here 3 nights a week whilst I was studying. Also, I never realised before this job that in newspapers those inserts don't get in there by themselves!!
