  CactuX s.r.o. is a start-up company developing and producing addons for microCT instruments. Our first product is SaguaroX – a new unique motorized sample XY translation stage designed specifically for µCT stations. It provides quick and easy sample mounting and motorized movement.CactuX was founded in March 2020 by the researchers from Laboratory of X-ray micro and nano computed tomography from CEITEC Brno University of Technology who have long-term experience with R&D in the computed tomography field.www.cactux.cz

  As a Leader of subgroup X-ray micro and nano computed tomography, which is part of Material characterization and Advanced coatings research group of CEITEC, I am involved in basic as well as applied research. I have a strong cooperation with national and international companies in the fields of non-destructive testing. Research activities of this group focus on development of advanced techniques (phase-contrast imaging or dual-energy tomography, measurement in extreme thermal condition), application of CT in development biology (3D visualization of mouse embryo) and correlations of 3D CT data with 2D images (acquired by Laser Induced Break-down Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, histology).www.ctlab.ceitec.cz
