Main interest is climate and industrial policy, including innovation strategies for energy intensive sectors. I am also looking at the EU's 2030 climate and energy strategy and the implementation thereof. Last but not least I will divert some brain-power to push the wagon of the UNFCCC negotiations aimed at securing a 2015 international climate agreement. Support developing countries implementing climate action through their National Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs).
