      This job was within the framework of a project developed for the MOP (Ministry of Public Infrastructure) funded by the world bank. My labor consisted in the modelling of two water resources system, consisting these of the Ligua river basin and the Petorca river basin using the software WEAP. The models consist of both hydrological modelling using meteorological data and the accurate description of the distribution of the water resources withing the catchments. These models are developed as part of the framework for the main objective of the project, that consists in the creation of a support methodology for the decision making of different hydraulic project options.       I accepted the proposed topic by this company for my thesis project, which is "Climate change potential impact on run-of-the-river power plant power generation". During this period I developed two different hydrological models for the rivers Pangal and Cachapoal, that were later used together with projections of different global circulation models that allowed me to project stream flows for the period 2040-2070. This stream flow projections were used on two different operational models that resulted in the potential power generation expected for this period, for later comparison with actual values.
