After being a silver medalist in the 2018 IEO and training three world-champion Brazilian delegations, I was elected as a member of the Executive Board of the IEO, which oversees the organization of the competition and sets its long-term policies.   The Olympiad is a nonprofit initiative that fosters Brazilian high school students’ interest in economics. In 2021, I coordinated the Academic Sector and managed test formulation and review. I was also team leader of the Brazilian delegation at the International Economics Olympiad and led the Communication and Diversity Working Group at OBECON, which increased participants by over 50% and doubled female participation.
