Tomaro is a very thorough and detailed-oriented professional who is very flexible and quickly adapts to the ever changing academic environment.

Ardis Hanson, PhD

During the time Tomaro worked for me, she established our standards for archival arrangement and EADs, worked with student and professional volunteers to process and to describe four collections, and created a student/volunteer processing guide. She is extremely competent with technology, having worked with Archon and Greenstone (archival software), BEPress, and LibGuides, in addition to being proficient in conducting literature reviews and managing databases. In addition to her ‘everyday’ work, Tomaro is actively involved as an archivist/researcher at both state and national levels. She is actively engaged with professional associations and publishes with colleagues. Her enthusiasm for her chosen work is boundless and infectious. I very much enjoyed working with her at the FMHI Research Library and am curious to see what new heights she will achieve!
