This section gives a detailed portrait of youth in terms of labour and education outcomes. The analysis will be disaggregated to capture inequalities within the youth population by wealth, gender, urban/rural, regions, and ethnicity (pending access to data). Section 2. Sectoral youth policies and programmes review. This section will review recent sectoral policies on youth, and specific measures taken during COVID and post-COVID, taking into account existing legal frameworks and national youth policies. Section 3. National consultations on the social and economic impact of COVID-19 on youth. Youth policies are cross-sectoral and require coordination between ministries (e.g. youth, education and labour). The project will consult with all relevant stakeholders, including youth organisations, to discuss the results of the analysis and their policy implications, building on existing inter-ministerial and multi-stakeholder structures dedicated to youth, whenever possible.
