Experience

    • Researcher
      • Sep 2020 - Present

I am involved in the production of multiple patterns in the micrometric and nanometric scale using the company signature technology called Pulsed Nanoimprinting Lithography (or pulsed-NIL) starting from the masters, to the finished products.

Besides, I learned the basics of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). All production steps were made in a cleanroom work environment. Show more Show less

    • Internship
      • Aug 2018 - Mar 2019

I was working in the fabrication of micropatterned PDMS substrates that were later used to culture neonatal opossum cortical neuronal precursors. The substrates were fabricated through the replica molding process starting from silicon masters. The silicon masters were obtained using photolithography and plasma etching techniques. All of the fabrication processes were done in the clean-rooms of the Facility of Nanofabrication (FNF) of the Istituto Officina dei Materiali - Italian National… I was working in the fabrication of micropatterned PDMS substrates that were later used to culture neonatal opossum cortical neuronal precursors. The internship was finalized for the layout of my thesis.Thesis title: Fabrication of micropatterned substrates for neonatal opossum neuronal precursors alignment and differentiation Show more Show less

    • Internship
      • Jan 2015 - Apr 2015

I was involved in the study of how butyric acid modulates the activation of human neutrophils and the differentiation of U937 cell line.
