Tom is a great geologist with a great intuition for quick understanding of structures and processes. He is able to come up with innovative solutions to problems and new interpretations of old outcrops using a basis of sound geological knowledge coupled with his own creativity. He is also hard working, amiable, and generally a great addition to any group work situation. I would have no hesitation recommending him fully for any geological employment.
