Having worked with Tom at ICS, I have been constantly impressed by him drive, enthusiasm, attention to detail and professional business development skills - particularly in managing challenging business situations. Tom is very well liked and respected by colleagues and clients. I have no hesitation in recommending Tom to any future projects. Highly recommended

I had the pleasure of working with Tom for a few years at ICS-digital, seeing him really quickly taking on more and more responsibilities and moving towards a more senior role. He takes ownership of his work, he is structured and delivers on time. To no surprise, clients we worked with during my time there spoke highly of him and he always went above and beyond for them. I have no doubt he will succeed in his current role at ICS-digital.

As Senior Sports and Gaming Manager, it was my job to work closely with the specialised sports team to ensure that client relations are kept to a high standard and monthly campaign work was completed on time.

As an Outreach Executive it is my job to attract prospective clients and websites to our campaigns, whilst liaising with Project Managers to ensure that all monthly targets and requirements are met.It involves dedication and hard work, whilst the nature of many of the campaigns require quick thinking and solution management.Throughout my time in this role, I have managed to attain some Project Management experience with link-building campaigns.A notable project I was responsible for was the management of a 70+ link campaign working with a major sports betting company, in which it was my role to manage the monthly budget and structure accordingly to feature our client across unique sites via native advertising and text links. The campaign was coming to a close around the time that I began work related to the project, but I believe the handling of such a large scale monthly operation so soon after starting my role with the company was a huge responsibility and an experience that will benefit me should I be considered for future project management roles.Since early 2016 I have become involved in managing a 50+ link-per-month campaign for another major sports betting company, which operates under similar campaign guidelines to that of other project modesl. It is my job to distribute content across 50+ sites per month and ensure that it is published on time to as wide an audience as possible.Aside from that, it is also my job to manage several of the smaller company campaigns, whilst I am also responsible for some editorial duties in the absence of our Content Manager. In recent weeks, I have taken on added responsibility within the company by providing mentoring and guidance to fellow members of staff where possible. I have also prepared and hosted several workshops around content ideas/topics across a range of sectors, product information and finally, how to 'get to grips' with the campaigns and requirements that the company are currently involved in. My responsibility in this role was to ensure that the content that was sent out to our clients was of the highest possible quality. This included checking articles at an efficient pace, to ensure that the content was suitable for it's intended place of publication. I had to do this at a fast pace to manage the high stream of content that ICS-Digital produced, whilst also taking into consistent consideration that each piece of individual content was stylized for a certain website and its target audience. A lot of the content was centered around sports, with a notable focus towards Football given the type of clients ICS work with. However, sports such as F1, Boxing, Tennis, Cricket and even some of the high-profile American Sports were covered during my time on editorial duties. Show less

My main responsibility whilst working with the Yorkshire Post was to report on local Rugby League team, Wakefield Wildcats. The team currently compete in the Super League and because of this I was often asked to compile match reports, previews and news features on the ever-evolving state of the club. Not only this but I had the opportunity to interview James Webster, the former head coach, on several occasions. Aside from this, I was also asked to cover news surrounding Hunslet Hawks, whilst I was also asked on occasion to provide web content surrounding Leeds United. I feel this role gave me a great deal of introductory experience in the world of Sports Journalism. Show less
