  For more than a decade I have directed the growth and evolution of Fulford Academy as it transformed from a transitional school for international students into a uniquely progressive Grade 6 to 12 university preparatory school. A global perspective remains integral to our mission, our students build their sensitivity to local and Global issues through the application of scientific, technological, and cultural knowledge to real world problems. I believe a school must remain true to its ideals. Our nurturing learning community is founded on the values of respect, courage and wisdom, and we are dedicated to the individual success of each student. A Fulford Academy graduate will be a leader in their future education, in their career, and in the broader community. Our graduates will be committed to promoting respect for the rights of others; they will be considerate and appreciative of human differences, and value the constructive expression of ideas. We strive for excellence in learning through the implementation of cultural understanding, computational thinking, project based learning, design and aesthetic principles as our students engage with complex and meaningful issues.
