Having originally orchestrated Social Media platforms for the BBAC on Facebook and YouTube, there is now a team of us responsible for running all Digital Media. My role within the BBAC has now extended to lead on the Membership department. I'm responsible for promoting membership in the public sphere by attending events across the UK as well as running the annual Membership renewal project, processing memberships and dealing with any and all membership queries. The ultimate goal is firstly to increase membership numbers through a targeted communication campaign, using digital media and targeted events to bring more people into the world of hot air ballooning. Secondly it is to improve the membership experience for our current members, through organising events such as the annual BBAC Members Day, first held in March 2019, offering members a unique conference with guest speakers covering a huge array of ballooning and airship news. Digital Health Record Programme PMO and Communications Lead

Currently works as part of a Programme Management Team, implementing the IT system SystmOne across Sussex Community NHS Trust. The system is part of a Government program to improve technology in the NHS, and helps to streamline the way in which health professionals work, improving the patient/carer relationship. In addition to support SystmOne at both a Project and Programme level, I also work closely with the Communications Lead on Communications and Brand Awareness for SystmOne both internally and externally. Spent several years working as an Administrative/Clerical Officer for a variety of teams at Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust. Primarily based within the Heart Failure Service, my work expanded to support all Specialist Services That covers Heart Failure, Diabetes, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Respiratory, Parkinsons and Home Oxygen. I was responsible for supporting a wide variety of Clinical Teams as their work evolved from an initial paper-based system into a more efficient, paperlite way of working, using the IT network SystmOne, PAS and other electronic systems. I was responsible for implementing Projects such as Archiving, which was part of the Trust-wide paperlite scheme to decrease the amount of paper notes needed by clinicians. I also spent time working within Community Equipment, as well as working in a variety of environments including GP Practices, Hospitals and Health Visiting Centres. My work was on/off in between School and University terms. Show less
