  Tom O’Donnell heads up Long O Donnell who specialise in delivering complex projects and programmes for both clients and contractors operating within the energy and infrastructure industries.Services undertaken to successfully deliver projects and programmes include engineering, project services, project control, commercial and contractual governance alongside the achievement of QHSE compliance.He has vast experience in many forms of contract including FIDIC, NEC, IEI, ICE, IChemE alongside bespoke contracts drafted to suit particular clients and circumstances.Tom’s experience is in mechanical and engineering projects, utility networks, power transmission and distribution, water distribution, oil & gas transmission, storage and distribution along with other product transportation and renewable energy delivering infrastructure, tunnelling, offshore and onshore infrastructure projects.Tom is also a Board Member of the RICS QS and Construction Professional Group, a Board Memmber of the North West Region and Chairman of the RICS Infrastructure Forum

The aim of this board was to provide a solid basis for the professional group to ensure that the correct standards are maintained by its members and that good practice is developed and guidance given to its members

  Tom was set the challenging task of helping the RICS develop and grow their offering to Chartered Surveyors operating within the Infrastructure sector.This is a sector here the RICS has its roots yet in recent years as property has boomed it has become somewhat neglected. Tom was hoping to put this right.
