As my instructor, Tom was very forthcoming about how his classes would be at the very beginning. He was straightforward, but he was also very informative and looked to give a realistic view of life in security. He catered his lessons to be an engaging experience. He was able to explain the responsibilities of the job and clearly outline the risks that come with the job. Tom has an extensive history working in the field and could give his class an inside look at the culture while also showing us the changes and improvements our role as officers has developed. Every step of the way he showed us how we could be better and what we could achieve and how we could better serve.
