This role was as the Marketing Executive for BiP’s two flagship brands, the public sector business development solution Tracker Intelligence and the defence industry business development solution Defence Contracts International. I was responsible for helping to develop and implement marketing plans across both brands. During my time with BiP I was promoted up a level to Marketing Executive Level 2 and received the company’s employee of the month award for January 2017, putting me in the running for the company’s employee of the year award. I was also runner up for this award in August 2017. Duties included: • Working closely with sales and facilitating lead generation through the creation of a wide variety of blogs, seasonal email campaigns, nurture email campaigns, prospecting newsletters, social media and webinars. • Engaging with our current customer base through daily email alerts, newsletters and monthly webinars to provide relevant content. • As part of the DCI brand I implement campaigns and webinars designed to help promote our DCI Cyber Essentials program. Working closely with the company ID Cyber Solutions we help our customers become cyber secure to the standard required to do business with the MOD. • Helping with the launch of three product and website upgrades, most recently helping to upgrade Tracker Intelligence’s website with the creation of new content and the implementation of improved SEO. • Working closely with our events team to help promote and meet potential customers at company events including Procurex Scotland and P4H. • Conducting market and competitor analyses, keeping up to date with market trends, the tools that we use and how our competitors position themselves.
