Based within the marketing team at the university. I worked on major university events which required a large amount of forward planning and sometimes had a lead time of over 9 months. Myself and the team were responsible for delivering large scale events such as graduation (with over 15000 people attending across the week) as well as other corporate events such as induction week for new starters. I was responsible for looking after the prize winners ceremony- an additional ceremony to the main graduation. In my time at the university I gained a lot of hands on experience working on a range of different events. I was responsible for looking after the events team phone and inbox which received a high volume of calls and emails every day. I learnt how to priorities my workload to cope with the demands of the job whilst maintaining an excellent customer service. Show less
