      With more than 30 years experience in mechanical project design and construction, as President of Environmental Mechanical Contractors Tom is responsible for overall direction of design, estimating and construction management, business development and contract negotiations. Following graduation from college, Tom worked for a large mechanical electrical plumbing (M.E.P.) consultant for nearly four years. As a consultant, he gained valuable experience in design, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, energy management, and retrofit design work. His career at Environmental Mechanical began under his father Vince LoScalzo. Tom joined Environmental Mechanical in 1983 as a mechanical engineer and was named President in 1992. Today, Environmental Mechanical Contractors, based in Olathe, Kansas, continues to grow and prosper under Tom’s leadership. Following his father's principal of innovative, cost-effective solutions and quality work, he has parlayed the company's extensive experience into a portfolio of services, specializing in design/build and value engineering. Tom holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. He is a licensed engineer in the States of Kansas and Missouri and is active in industry affairs, including ASHRAE, NEBB and SMACNA. Show less
