The equipment included; - Soil resistivity meter including high precision uOhm test mode. - Tower tester, targeted at in-circuit testing of pylon earth impedance. - Off frequency grid current injection module able to inject an off frequency test signal for testing the integrity of earthing cables in substations. - Tunable voltmeter, which combined with the injector above can safety test step and touch voltages at locations neighbouring a substation. - Electronic scoreboard, I designed a number of compact controller modules based around ARM based MCU's built on PCB's up to 6 layer including discrete RF transceivers, DC/DC converters and USB/isolated RS485 interfaces.
