Worked at Computershare (a global financial administrations provider) within their Share Plans department as a technical data analyst, I was employed by CS for my data & reporting skills (inc SQL skills) and because of my experience in project management. During my time there I built upon experience in analysing and manipulating data as well as enhancing my project management skills. On a daily basis, I was responsible for both managing data projects and producing data solutions. These solutions would take the form of collecting data from the internal SCRIP system and manipulating it into whatever specified format the internal client or client teams specified, so that could be used for analytical purposes. The main Tools provided were Microsoft Access and Excel 2010, so in most cases the implementation of VB code and SQL were required to get around limitations with these tools. I worked across a wide spectrum of clients and with several teams, collecting & presenting information, managing projects and collaborating with teams. As CS was monitored by the FCA, I was expected to keep up-to-date with regulations and was tested frequently. I was awarded certificates in Data Protection, Client Asset Management and Business Conduct (in regards to client finance).I also attended and completed an Advance Excel Course. Show less
