I am responsible for overseeing and maintaining a number of theatre spaces and studios within the College. I rig and run lights, sound and AV for a wide variety of shows both within the college and for a number of external, professional events for theatre, dance and music companies, hiring our spaces. I also build and design sets for a range of events and ensure all technical needs are met with regards to sound, light, AV, props and set. Within my role at the College, I have also taken on an unqualified teaching role in Production Arts, which has been a great challenge. I teach BTEC level 3 production arts units in visual imagery, lighting operations, automated lighting, sound set up and theatre rigging. I also run an ASDAN CoPE level 2 course using Production Arts as the main medium of content delivery.
