Choose to join an exceptional manager, not an organisation itself – a life lesson that kicked off at my first Ansell interview with Tom. His genuine passion for driving growth and revenue via martech solutions was evident, and since then he has continuously delivered successful automation projects from conception to execution to analysis. These programs have time and again benefited a vast network of regional stakeholders – myself being one of them – contributing to our marketing successes across lead acquisition, field events, and eCommerce to name a few. Tom is a strong advocate for professional development and Ansell's digital pioneer for emerging technologies that the business would benefit from. He in many ways single-handedly shaped the organisation's digital environment, and it's extremely rare to learn from a leader who can both articulate marketing strategy and execute the work at a high-calibre. Many leaders are simply conversationalists so it's been an absolute pleasure reporting indirectly and directly to a true marketing operations expert. Since beginning his Ansell career as a marketing intern, Tom has flourished with a self-directed, solution orientation. Upon arrival at our Melbourne office, he observed that the marketing team was paying external agencies for simple artwork changes. As a result, he learned Adobe’s Creative Cloud and became a versatile resource for teams across the Ansell universe. Clearly, we could not let him go at the end of his internship!
