• Realtime Planner

  Realtime planning and follow-up of our pool of locomotives in coöperation with my collegues at the Cargo Operations Center and our partners COBRA and Sibelit. Responsible for keeping means of production as high as possible by assisting drivers as first line support on the telephone, ordering interventions of technicians and to repatriate defective locomotives to the workshop as soon as possible in order to minimize immobilisation periods. Also responsible for the planning of the maintenance of our diesellocomotives together with the respective workshops and leasing partners in order to maximize efficiency and capacity. Recently I have also been active as realtime planner for our national trains during which I'm responsible for the smooth operations of our national traffic. This includes management of locomotives, drivers and loads in coöperation with my colleagues from our various freight stations in the country and the colleagues next to me in the Cargo Operations Center. Not only do I monitor our current trains, I also actively look for solutions for loads that have stranded all the while keeping a close watch to our efficiency and capacity.
