Conduct field-cutting analysis and automate masonry sections & material rendering. Launch Masonry iQ from the Revit Add-ins tab. It allows you to adjust your masonry layout to eliminate costly field cutting. Use it to create custom masonry patterns, build pattern regions and set up each course. Also use it to study corner bonding or to analyze walls and map custom patterns so corners bond correctly and field cuts are identified. The result: An adjust layout that is now modular with no field cuts. Masonry iQ lets you explore a masonry bond at odd angle corners and to adjust your layout easily for a clean miter corner. Field cuts at non-modular openings can be displayed so you can adjust locations to reduce cutting. You can also bond beams to create sweeps or create cavity walls with separate wythes. Replace existing Revit materials with Masonry iQ walls. Each wall and pattern are analyzed independently and Masonry iQ creates your section details while unit sections and bond beams are drawn for you. Masonry iQ lets you quickly swap out one design for another and move bond cut locations and control joints. Add materials from local masonry producers. Select colors and textures for your project. Create blends of multiple materials, experiment with mix ratios as various materials schemas and then map them to your patterns. Adjust mortar colors.
