Attended the 53rd Session of the Human Rights Council, making detailed notes throughout the different agenda items and debates, specifically highlighting the hypocrisies spewed by some of the world’s worst human rights abusers. I was privileged to address the council on the human rights situation in Gabon, under their Universal Periodic Review. I was assigned several other data driven tasks throughout the internship. Humbling experience. Cleaning rooms; beds and bathrooms, is a physically challenging job. Someone has to do it, and I’m glad I had the chance to work at such a renown institution. It gave me an opportunity to learn invaluable hospitality skills. Humbling experience. Cleaning rooms; beds and bathrooms, is a physically challenging job. Volunteer work under Oranim’s community project - “The Galilee Dreamers”. Their aim is to create a shared society for Arabs and Jews in the Northern region of Israel. Under their structure, I spearheaded a sport-day for local teenagers with a focus on female empowerment. Volunteer work under Oranim’s community project - “The Galilee Dreamers”. Bana is a delectable Vegan restaurant in the world’s vegan capital, Tel Aviv. As a volunteer, I was taught culinary basics; preparing the kitchen for the days ahead, “First In First Out”, intricate knife skills and creating aesthetics. Hard work literally paid off, as I was quickly upgraded to a paid employee, where I headed the “cold pass”, sending out picturesque salads and desserts. My time was cut short because of covid. Classic Argentinian grill house. The owners and managers made a special effort to make me confident and comfortable. A high-end restaurant, that often attracted larger groups. Being assigned these tables was a stressful privilege. I was taught to open and close the store front; both entailed meticulous cleaning and organizing. Classic Argentinian grill house.
