I am currently working as Visual Manager at H&M’s Brompton Rd store in Knightsbridge. I am in charge of a team of six Visual Merchandisers, who under my guidance maintain a very high visual level in store to create the best customer shopping experience possible. My weekly routines consist of : Planning in-store visual presentationFloor walksManagement / Area meetings Reacting to weekly selling figures Setting goals for myself and my teamGiving feedbacks to my teamPlanning up and coming campaignsTimesheets and holidays, New stock placement Training meetings.I feel my strengths lie in leadership and communication. I’m involved in all the in-store trainings to staff and management. My goal is to maintain an excellent visual level and service in my store at the same time making it fun and enjoyable for everyone to work in. I work very closely with my store manager to achieve the best results possible.

During my time in the new flagship store of H&M UK, I was part of a larger team and the job role required the highest level of ability and pace, continuing with the responsibilities I held from my previous position. They included merchandising the shop floors completely every 2 weeks, dressing / styling mannequins, reacting commercially, setting up campaigns following company guidelines, and using daily figures to help selling throughout the week.I was one of six trainers in my area, working with new visuals for a 4 week period to teach and guide them to becoming visual merchandisers, with regular feedback and discussions. This took up a lot of time whilst continuing with normal day to day jobs. It’s a demanding and challenging position to be in, but very fulfilling.I worked alongside my visual manager on a regular basis and when he is off work or on holiday I step into his role and managed the store from the visual side, often liaising with area/ head office.During 2008 I had been involved with new store openings including one in Florence, Italy. At the beginning of 2010 I was a responsible for two store opening in central London. I had 2 weeks to set the stores up ready for launch with a team of visual merchandiser. I had to manage to team to make sure everything was completed on time and the store was at a high visual level. I would have regular visits/ meetings from the area and UK visuals throughout the 2 weeks.
