I worked for the company following the conclusion of my university degree. My role involved coaching young soccer players aged 4 to 19 years. As a returning coach I was promoted to course leader and thus charged with additional responsibilities. My job was to manage the soccer courses in liaison with a course coordinator (club secretary), offer support, help and advice to colleagues, players, and the players’ families. The Player Development Officer role was with a junior soccer club in Detroit, Michigan where I was based for a period of 6 weeks. I delivered coaching sessions to the various age groups, as well as organising and running coach (education) clinics for coaches working within the club.In addition to promotion and sales work on behalf of the Chicago Fire FC, I worked at Soldier Field Stadium in a public relations role on home match days.
