      My PhD project, funded with a four-year grant from the Dutch government and supervised by Professor Jennifer Welsh, investigated the role of anti-impunity norms and considerations of mission effectiveness in the cooperation between international criminal courts and tribunals and peacekeeping operations.

      As a researcher in the Conflict Prevention Program of The Hague Institute for Global Justice, my work focused on the role of international interventions in promoting stability in (post-)conflict zones. I was involved in projects that look at the link between employment and stability, radicalization, and the effects of international criminal justice on peace. In addition, I contributed to a number of successful funding proposals resulting in, amongst others, grants from NWO, the Swiss embassy in Macedonia and the Dutch Ministries of Economic Affairs and Foreign Affairs.

Albright and Professor Ibrahim Gambari) and the NWO-funded project "Employment for Stability" (see list of projects).After a year, I was promoted to the position of Researcher.
