Chief elected officer of the membership organisation with responsibility for finance, staffing, legal compliance, governance and representing over 9000 students. I was a charitable trustee of the Union which has a £2 million turnover, 30 permanent employees and over 250 casual and temporary staff. I am Chair of the most senior Union committees including its Board and a full member of Buckinghamshire New University's governing body. Under my leadership the organisation has managed to increase its charitable fundraising to £15,000 in 2010-11 from £3,000 in 2008-09 and maintained our status as a Fairtrade University. Show less

I helped organise committee attendance at all levels of the University for 150 Student Reps across 3 faculties.
