      As POPI Project Manager I was accountable for the successful delivery and implementation of compliance to the POPI act by 30 June 2021. I worked closely with HC’s Legal team to identify, coordinate and report back on key POPI deliverables and milestones spanning 31 departments of the HomeChoice International Group. I was also responsible for assessing and identifying dependencies across teams and departments, consulting with various implementation teams to ensure that milestone delivery dates were met with quality solutions. I constructed bespoke dashboards, and weekly and monthly milestone reports for consumption at exec and mid-management level. This included identifying and escalating key risks and their downstream impact on delivery dates. I was also a member of the change management forum whose duties included the coordination and approval of communication plans, hosting monthly POPI "rah-rah” sessions (for awareness and motivation), producing and distributing training material and policy acknowledgements. I played an integral part in the coordination required to obtain 300+ signed third party vendor POPI agreements. In closing, I am currently overseeing phase 2 of the POPI implementation, ensuring the successful final implementation to establish POPI compliance as a "business as usual" function. Show less
