I was a member of the Control Systems Team on the EcoCAR2 Project. EcoCAR 2 is a collegiate vehicle technology competition established by the US Department of Energy and General Motors. Each competing school is tasked with converting a stock 2013 Chevy Malibu into a fully functional alternative fuel vehicle. Colorado State is using Hydrogen Fuel Cell technology as our main energy source. As a member of the Control Systems team, I helped refine and expand control models for the vehicle… Show more I was a member of the Control Systems Team on the EcoCAR2 Project. I relied heavily on my interpersonal skills to provide leadership and maintain a positive group dynamic. Was responsible for building a payload to measure CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere as it ascended to a near space environment at 100,000 feet. Project was showcased at a state-wide exhibition.
