Todd did an outstanding job leading a large multi specialty ambulatory Allscripts implementation while I was the Informatics Director/CMIO. The project involved a lot of required customizations as well as hardware implementation. Todd is an innovative yet practical problem solver. He is very strong in his ability to authentically engage with physicians and other healthcare staff to gain their perspective and requirements, and in understanding their work well, to then develop an implementation plan that honors the needs of the healthcare staff while accommodating any inherent limitations in IT systems. This is a unique skill set, that leads to markedly improved customer satisfaction and health IT adoption. Todd understands the clinician, gets it done, keeps his eye on the ball, and is a pleasure to work with.
