Enhanced the companies existing RPGLE, PHP, and jQuery e-commerce website with new features using ReactJS and other modern practices. My primary focus for new features has been web-based corporate-wide management. This includes sales analysis reporting, actionable sales plan management, service log communication, promotions management, store-reset scheduling, and corporate event management. Built serverless microservices using NodeJS on AWS ECR/Fargate and Lambda for distributed report generation tasks. Designed, deployed, and integrated both proactive and reactive system and application monitoring toolsets using Nagios and DataDog. Consolidated incident awareness and notifications using PagerDuty. Migrated several customer-facing brand marketing websites to AWS using EC2, S3, and CloudFront as part of ongoing consolidation efforts. Architected scalable REST API web service for website and mobile applications using AWS API Gateway pointed at both NodeJS Lambda and PHP integrations. Introduced git version control and CI/CD workflow, using GitLab, too many projects in need. Some projects use GitLab only for unit testing and others for the full deployment process. Built a custom AWS VPC to allow for secure communication between cloud-based serverless applications and on-premise LAN. Serverless applications could now access secure databases directly without the extra overhead of other protocols. Show less

Developed many of the companies public web sites and web-based management interfaces for appliance products. Languages include HTML, Javascript, AJAX, PHP, and Actionscript. Also developed a Streaming VOD/LIVE video service. This service allows customers to upload content from appliances and many other avenues to delivers on-demand video to their audiences on many different computer platforms, mobile devices, and set-top boxes. Live worked much the same, but required the use of a Live video encoder. Show less
