Reduced programing time from hours, to less than an hour and eliminated programming on the machine which increased CNC machine capacities by more than 2 times. • Assisted Customer’s with technical support with their part design through project completion.• Eliminated separate setup sheets for the CNC programs by incorporating them into the program header in a standard note format for all jobs. This also reduced the paperwork on the production floor.• Updated, connected and maintained networking to all CNC machinery to keep up with technology and improve data transfers.• Redesigned an aging filing system for managing CAD files, program files and all files used in the manufacturing process making it easier to find information and files in a windows environment.• Used Root Cause analysis to document a process map for how projects flow through the company and identify bottlenecks.• Developed a sheet yield calculator for estimating to minimizing the time it took to calculate by hand the sheet yield.
