Rose to the rank of Lieutenant and held several assignments to include Patrol Watch Commander, Training Unit Commander, and School Resource Lieutenant. Also served as the Scottsdale Police Department’s Honor Guard Commander, Mobile Field Force Commander, Crisis Negotiations Team Leader, and the Alternate SWAT Commander. Todd was very active in training during his tenure with the Scottsdale Police Department. He was a P.O.S.T. certified instructor and as such was a Defensive Tactics, High Risk Vehicle Stop, Chemical Munitions, and Mobile Field Force Instructor. Todd was also very active in Community Policing Initiatives, youth outreach programs, and volunteered as a baseball coach for special needs children and adults through The Miracle League of Arizona.
