Todd Mantock successfully completed a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt workshop in which I facilitated. He has gained an understanding of the role and impact LSS has in today’s workplace. Todd worked on a project to eliminate waste and shorten lead times in the hospitality industry. In doing so; he has demonstrated skills in writing Standardized Operating Procedures (SOP), Created Value-Stream Mapping and performed root cause analysis as it applied to throughput. In addition; he also demonstrated knowledge and application of deliverables commonly found when working through a DMAIC process, such as; Project Charters, Stakeholder Analysis, SIPOC, COPQ, Voice of the Customer Matrix etc. Todd also represented outcomes using descriptive statistics and also presented a clear summary of his project in A3 format.

• Student Financial Resources Management: Assist students in identifying eligibility for Direct Loans (Stafford Loan) program with FAS, Inc., seminary grant and scholarship opportunities, and external resources of funding. Coordinate disbursement of funds of financial resources, maintenance of electronic records, and financial statistical data. • Maintain and understand institutional compliance responsibility with the Department of Education (DOE) program requirements including but not limited to: accurate and organized files, consumer information regulations, annual reporting of the institution (IPEDS and other reporting requirements). • Financial Counseling: Provide individual counseling with students focused upon reducing student debt load upon graduation including a financial literacy program, requirements of Direct Loans counseling, financial planning consisting of a cost calculator, and outreach materials to assist students. • Assist with Student Orientation as it relates to financial aid. • Reconciling student financial aid data provided to the Business Office to ensure all payments have been made, refunds are accounted for, and expenditures are reported. • Develop and maintain an appropriate financial aid policies and procedures manual, develop and maintain performance measures of student debt, and effectiveness of the financial aid program. • Handle the Veterans benefit processing. • Compilation and submission of all institutional, state and federal reports concerning Title IV student aid programs. • Preparing for and participating in program reviews and audits. • Keep current on changes in laws and regulations to ensure that the school remains in compliance. Attend professional training events as necessary. • Improve endowed scholarship process and procedure, and assist in the assignment of endowed scholarship funds to students based on established criteria, in conjunction with the Stewardship Director.
