Century, LLC (Formally Century, Inc.) is a vertically integrated advanced Machining & world class Heat Treating operation(s). My Sales Director role at Century was to diversify the highly focus and small customer base of the Machining division while advising on broadening our capabilities. During my nearly 14yrs at Century I have successfully positioned Century into the Aerospace, Defense, Oil & Gas, Mining, Medical, and various industries that require our vertically integrated manufacturing services. I have been successful at performing targeted market research, pertinent prospecting, impactful selling, and high-level negotiating. I have a quantifiable record of closing numerous multimillion dollar and multi-year agreements. During my tenure at Century I have been extremely fortunate to have been surrounded by outstanding individuals and truly captains of industry. From those relationships I have gained a considerable knowledgebase in manufacturing and several key markets throughout the industry. I have enjoyed being a part of so many successful teams responsible for significantly growing Century and its business units throughout the years.

Interface Innovations was the M&A of Interface Machine Tool Sales and Scott Automation. Our combined organizations developed the Machining industries first "pre-engineered" Robotically operated Machining Cells- called the "Productivity Platform". Ethernet based, Pre-plumbed, Pre-wired, and available in three (3) sizes. This truly pre-engineered Robotic cell had standardized options for Conveyance, Part marking, Inspection, deburring, etc. Standard Robot interfacing to from Fanuc & Motoman communicated seamlessly with CNC machine tools. A series of successful VC funding rounds was followed by nearly 40 system installs throughout the country. Unfortunately Interface Innovations fell victim to the market crash of 2009 and investor in-fighting for control. Many of the innovations stemming from this dynamic and forward thinking group can still be seen in the manufacturing industry today.

Interface was owned and operated by Scott Pierman, Jeff Swift & Todd Mackey. Under their leadership Interface greatly expanded its customer base and top line sales. Interface expanded its operations into Finance, Applications engineering, & service. In 2004, Interface Technologies merged operations with Scott Automation (systems integrator) to form Interface Innovations.
