Vice Presidential Protection Detail: Responsible for close protection, physical/facility security of the Vice President and immediate family. Conducted numerous site and lead advances for Vice Presidential visits. Coordinated security planning with State, local, Federal and DoD assets and numerous foreign security services both in the United States and overseas. Protective Intelligence Unit: Conducted intelligence advances and threat investigations for President, Vice President and foreign dignitaries. Worked closely with domestic and foreign intelligence agencies for threat identification and mitigation. Supervised numerous financial crimes and access device investigations in coordination with other federal agencies as well as State and local law enforcement. Investigations ranged from wire fraud, money laundering and mail fraud. Lead investigator on international fraud scheme resulting in the cash seizure of 2.65 million dollars. Lead investigator for Secret Service’s first successful prosecution of an international “419” advanced fee fraud case in the United States which resulted in the seizure of 1.8 million dollars and conviction of four defendants. Lead Advance agent for Presidential inaugural site. Coordinated with Federal, State, local law enforcement, DoD assets and White House staff members to ensure security requirements were met. Fitness coordinator: Ensured special agents maintained fitness requirements demanded by the Secret Service.

Training Officer: Supervised a staff of 20 Marines that planned, organized and executed predeployment training for over 750 Marines and sailors. Coordinated training areas, ammunition, weapons, equipment and transportation requirements as well as personnel assignments and administrative requirements. Rifle Platoon Commander: responsible for the welfare, training, and employment of a Marine infantry platoon. Planned and executed training evolutions and tactical operations. Commanded Marines during 1st Gulf War.
