Job Summary:Provides oversight and coordination of a pipeline area’s regulatory compliance activities and serves as a liaison between Environmental, Health, Safety, Training and DOT Pipeline Compliance departments on behalf of all company operational areas which are supported.Essential Duties:•Manage incident reporting and incident investigations within the company. Review all incident investigations and hazard near misses for trends, systemic issues and lessons learned.•Provide and manage the company’s compliance calendar and training matrix for all areas. Communicate all requirements to the appropriate personnel.•Coordinate and/or conduct safety, health, environmental and DOT compliance training. This includes new hire orientation and planned training.•Provide project oversight to ensure contractors comply with company processes and policies. •Maintain, review and manage all local filing of safety, health, environmental and PHMSA records, programs, plans, policies and procedures. •Maintain a compliance action item database for tracking and resolution of open items. •Participate in DOT 195 Operation & Maintenance procedure annual reviews. •Participate in the development and review of Job Safety Plans. •Apply, implement and maintain safety and health programs for Pipeline Operations. •Maintain Emergency Response Plans within areas of responsibility and coordinate scheduling of Emergency Response Drills. •Facilitate internal audits for compliance records as well as participate during scheduled audits by outside regulatory agencies such as PHMSA, OSHA and EPA. •Work with Compliance Coordinators and Operations to develop and implement organizational best practices. •Act as a liaison between field personnel and Corporate Compliance groups. •Collaborate with local and other emergency response agencies on emergency preparedness.
