  I developed digital hardware, software, and firmware for a number of imaging systems.- Developed algorithms and software implementing particle filters, Kalman filters, stereo vision, tracking/acquisition, polarimetric analysis, machine learning, target detection and identification, and navigation technologies.- Lead electronics and PCB designer from 2013-2019, performing schematic capture and layout of advanced PCBs that included FPGAs, microprocessors, chip-level sensors, memory (SDR, DDR, FLASH), and a variety of high and low speed interfaces. - Software and firmware development in C/C++/C#, Matlab, Verliog, VHDL for advanced sensors, imaging system, image processing and tracking algorithms, and data analysis techniques.- Performed project management and business development from 2012-2019. Developed the SkyPASS technology and led a team of 5-10 engineers and scientists. Brought in and managed over $8M in development funding and sales. Also began a medical device hardware development business area in 2018. • Software/Algorithm Engineer

  - Lead software engineer for a polarimetric scene generator product. Developed hardware/software interfaces for a LWIR camera, scene generators, and motors/stages. Also implemented polarimetric analysis algorithms, designed user interfaces, and performed software/hardware testing.- Developed a solution to enable a stereo camera to automatically converge on the scene. The solution was prototyped in Matlab and C++ and then embedded onto an Altera FPGA using Verilog.- Designed a novel algorithm that generates a real-time disparity/range map from stereo IR imagery.- Lead electrical/software engineer for a 3D terrain mapping project. Developed hardware/software interfaces for two high definition cameras, IMU/GPS, and timers/triggers. Also designed user interfaces and performed software/hardware testing and validation using Microsoft Visual Studio C++/C#.- Developed a Monte Carlo simulation of an AAR docking scenario using simulated radar and EO/IR data fused using a Kalman filter.- Conducted multiple research field tests and analyzed/reduced data. This included analysis of polarization and radiometric signatures of animals, watercraft, humans, and other targets of interest.- Created and incorporated multiple image processing algorithms and advanced mathematical libraries into custom software package using C/C++/C#. Also, developed software for plotting region of interest statistics from imagery.- Performed information security support for a number of classified (Secret) projects. Performed Information Security Systems Manager (ISSM) role from 2011-2012.- Performed IT support for multiple computer systems, mail/internet/phone/ftp servers, routers, and switches
