During my Ph.D. I have been investigating novel platinum alloys which function as catalysts for the Oxygen Reduction Reaction (ORR) in low temperature fuel cells. I have been characterizing these surfaces under Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) conditions, using a variety of surface science techniques. I was responsible for the UHV setup and performed experiments independently.
