Maper is a startup which provides a turnkey condition monitoring solution, while developing all its own hardware and software technology. My responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Research state-of-the-art methods and algorithms to improve the condition monitoring service. - Perform full firmware lifecycle including requirements definition, planning, design, implementation, testing, building and deploying. - Gather Reliability Analysts knowledge to improve sensor features and system automatic failure detection and diagnostics. - Supervise hardware manufacturing and testing by overseas contract manufacturer. - Keep device fleet updated with the latest firmware updates. Some of the achievements I made so far: - Designed and prototyped a wireless IIOT device to measure AC currents, monitor power consumption, and interface with other industrial sensors. - Designed and implemented an online monitoring platform providing full visibility and insights for firmware metrics of deployed devices. - Automated processes related to device monitoring reducing operations times by 50% and allowing the system to scale. - Developed a Python API wrapper to fetch sensor data and perform data engineering and model development in Jupyter Notebooks. - Developed a Discord bot to allow operations team to interact and configure hardware devices.OpenThread, ChibiOS, Makefile, GCC, Altium Designer, InfluxDB, Grafana, Yocto, Mender, AWS EC2, Jupyter, Jira, Confluence Show less
